I was following you down the M11 and your rear lights were faint until you hit a bump then they would get bright. Flickered quite a lot. Possibly a loose connection somewhere.

I nearly bought that car a couple of years ago

The guy backed out of the sale at the last minute when I asked for an inspection.

He lived near Braintree IIRC.

Yep that was me! Suspect needs new camshaft, hence inability to shake off elise!!! (only joking, straight line only!)

Thanks for info on lights - they seem to suffer after it's rained, so I'll get them checked out. Don't want any excuse for being stopped if I can help it.
