What colour?

Can anyone please tell me what the official name of the colour my car is? It's a pink - not purple
Can't quickly work out how to use fotango - but have found this site http://uk.3si.org/events/boxhill20011215/main.htm the photos at the bottom of the page show the colour best on my PC

Not sure but it's similar to Diablo purple???

If you have the handbook (filofax thing) it should be written in the front. Failing that the paint code on the VIN plate will tell you - you may need to contact the factory to be sure and I've heard they can charge for this.

Unfortunately, I do not have the original handbook.
I asked the factory about 3 weeks ago - but no reply so far!
Then I thought of you guys!

It seems to be a fairly common TVR colour - certainly seen it in Sprint a number of times

OK, I checked the URL this time... it looks rather like the same colour as the famous colour-coded Chimp V8 NUT of MidEssex fame. Wild guess: Techno violet. If you contact Yellow Peril, MidEssex RO and most likely to be found in the Cerbera forum, she might be able to put you in touch.

NB: Factory seems to a bit poor at answering e-mails, but who cares when you have the very wonderful PHers??!!

In looking at these colours on the net on other cars - they do not look like mine - I am much more pink!!
I will have to learn how to upload photos using fotango!

Anyway - had the first day (prologue) of our Targa rally - awesome fun.
Will be back home again probably late Sunday after a long drive back from the finish in Wellington

My Trevor is Rosso red.but my daughter used paintshop to change the colour to the same as yours. I thought it looked quite nice
