I have two buttons under my steering wheel, one is for the boot. What is the other for? Also a third switch on the steering column, what is that for? Thanks

Factory fit for second button (usually) turns dashboard lights on/off.

Or it could be an aftermarket fan override switch.

As for the one on the steering column - is it a switch or dial? Dial is intermittent wipe delay control.

Silly question - applying a (pressing)iron to your bum will obviously make it hot. With your IQ I would suggest that answering the phone while you're ironing is not a good idea either.
