Hello, I've just found a flyer advertising Philips "BlueVision" xenon headlight bulbs, claiming they're brighter, safer etc. Anyone tried them? Russell

I have xenon bulbs fitted though not the philips blue ones. They are a huge improvement over the standard bulbs bringing the lights up to the standard of most 'modern' cars.

Just had a quick flick thru the latest special edition of Autoexpress (ie not the usual weekly version) in my local library (aka WHSmiths) and there's a test on light bulbs. Seemed pretty comprehensive but I didn't read it. HTH. AndyW Griff500

Thanks for the replies. The flyer mentions Auto Express magazine so it may be worth a look. Just wanted to make sure that they are likely to work rather than just changing the colour without improving night vision.

Yeah, I fitted some blue Xenon bulbs last year and they do give a cleaner, brighter light. I got mine from Wedge Automotive, £17 a pair.

I've heard there is quite a variance between different manufacturer's products - which ones did AutoExpress recomend? R...

I haven't seen the article yet, Rich, but the advert for Philips BlueVision says "AA Auto Express magazine winner". Russell
