I think I know the answer BUT....anyone got any mods for the Chimaera heater system, so perhaps it might keep me a bit warmer in the winter and not boil my arse in the summer. My car is old I know but the newer models must have a better system that mine, any thoughts?

I seem to get enough heat out of the gearbox thanks

usually wear a thick coat until it's warm inside.

but usually drive around with window down anyway to hear the exhaust so heater has little effect.

Hi Markh,
I find I can get my Chim fairly toastie if I close down the vents in the passenger footwell almost shut and open the driver side ones fully... it shares the heat better. I leave the main vent fan on medium unless I'm on a long motorway drive when it's not necessary. Also, climb into the driver's footwell and make sure the auxilary (cold) vents are completely shut and the auxilary fan is off!
