Spotted a pale blue (Paris blue?) Chim, personal plate (8916 something?) coming West out of Emsworth towards Portsmouth at about 12:20 today

Nice car; that was the colour I was originally going for (but I am happy with what I got too!).

We were going to the Sussex "Sauasge Pub" Brewery for a departmental Christmas Lunch; I wasn't in my Chim since it's with Andy McLoughlin at APM being serviced this week.

Chaps,
I was speaking with Andy, the General Manager at The Bosham Inn the other day and he is well up for a visit from us lot.
Bob The Planner and I went over there in the summer and created some noise and he came over demanding the keys for the weekend

He is a top guy with a love for fast cars and bikes and has said would welcome us all - the more the merrier and he will section off a part of the car park for us.

Are you interested? If so I'll put a thread up in the Events section early in the New Year.

Sounds good to me, I should be around most of the time ... must remember to keep an eye on that section!

Surprised I haven't seen you - I used to live in Southsea and have recently moved to Cosham.

Hi Voltaire53,

Had the Chim for a few months now, do you go to the Hants meeting each month?

Only had mine since August (just had first service ...) - not had a chance to get to any of the meets yet due to my wedding and sorting out the new house!

Haven't had the wedding thing (congrats by the way) but the house thing sounds familiar. Hopefully meet you soon.

You may be interested in this run to Brighton on the 28th

Also I'm always looking for ideas/venues for last Sunday of the month. Dec and Jan are sorted.
Feb, Mar etc. are WIP.
Feb I was thinking of being near Basingstoke

Yes I know March is ages away, but I was thinking nearer home (Romsey) and then April in the SE Hants.

I'm also hoping that Don and .Mark do the "Pie on the Beach III" in August.

See you....

PoTBIII will return. Although it may be better to slip it back until early September again as parking was a bit of an arse on the hottest day of the year don't you think?

I'm also looking for ways to improve it, all ideas welcome.

Brighton on the 28th sounds good although I'm already booked to be in the Chelsea stands when they play Pompey on that day, but it's not totally confirmed yet. I'll join you lot if at all possible!

In addition, does anyone go to the general car/bike meet in Wickam square on Boxing Day???

Well over the last couple of years there seems to have been numerous cars, bikes, steam rollers and the like of all shapes and sizes meeting in Wickham square on Boxing Day morning. Tends to last 2-3 hours. Does anyone live near Wickham who could maybe ask one of the pub owners as they all seem to be open on Boxing Day!!!!

I'm also up for this Bosham meet.

BTW I also live in Cosham and have had a '97/P Cherry pearl Chim since Sept '02 - I had an S2 for a year before that and I've not seen any of you lot about. I use mine most weekends and do about 5000 miles/year locally so you must all be hiding

Iam around I promise. I would say just listen out for the rumbling of my sports exhaust but no doubt it'll be difficult for you to hear it when in another Chim. Most people can hear me coming from a mile away (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).Hopefully a few of us locals can join the others at the Brighton/Wickam and Bosham meets.
