Button ?????

Gave the car a clean today(at last) and found a button on the left hand side of the steering column... (in a simular possition to the boot button but on the left)
I have NO idea what its for and its bugging me !
Dose anyone KNOW ????
I need to sleep to night !

Switches the instrument panel lights off. So you can drill a roaring hole through the nighttime countryside without being distracted by such nonsense as how fast you are going...

took me months to even find it...when i did i was a bit surprised

Still think it would have been a better idea to fit a dimmer switch!!!

Me too - someone cleverer than I could remove the button and replace it with a potentiometer.
