Tried to sneak past the neighbours for an early morning blast. Ended up stalling it off the drive. BIG MISTAKE. 60 minutes of turning the engine over/leaving it for a while/ then turning it over again to no effect. DEAD. About to call RAC but turned to PH's instead. Removed fuel pump relay. CAr fired then stopped. Re inserted fuel pump relay and we are off!!
Thank you PHers. Got in 45 min run before Christmas duties caught up with me. BTW Car seems to be runnnign better than ever. Must of needed it (or did my fuel relay antics just blow up the cat ??) Who cares. It's going again.

If you stall it from cold, you normally just need to leave it for about a couple of minutes to let it sort itself out and then it will fire up ok.
Been there, done that, worn out the T shirt.
