Just had a full service done at Fernhurst. Didn't ask for anything extra to be looked at, as everything was just fine.
Picked it up on Saturday and the difference is amazing - performance is the same as before, but the improvement in handling feels like someone has jettisoned 300kg from the car. Unbelievable - I can absolutely hurl it at corners and the steering has lightened significantly (non-PAS). I guess that's just due to correction of wheel alignment? Also, the gear changes are smoother and the jerkiness when cold and in traffic has gone.
Superb. Went for a proper spaz in it last night and got out shaking with adrenaline!

And to think that I considered selling it before Christmas. What a twat!

Had a leaking clutch cylinder sorted out under warranty as well - cost unknown, but I don't care anyway!
Couple of tasty Cerberas down there when I went. And a bloke turned up in a 996 for a sniff round, which (very childishly) made me chuckle.
