Mobie Phone In Car Kits
Discussion
Evening all! Hope you've all had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a Jolly Good New Year! Just a quick question for you..... Has anyone fitted, either themselves or by a company, an in-car mobile phone hands free kit thingy? Just wondering which type it was and how it looked and so on. I'm on a Nokia phone at the moment and want to stay within the law but also don't want wires dangling all over the shop like some Lax Power type with wires coming out of the cigarette lighter for the in-car neons..... 'innit'! Thanks for your help, Simon
simon, I had the same dilemma whilst i was recently back in UK, I went the way of getting one of those magnet thingies, great idea me thinks. Just stick the magnet on your dash (i put mine just to the left of the speedo), stick the metal strip to the back of the phone. Done. No wires, no ripping your chim apart trying to find a place to put it in, and it sits almost perfect for you to see who's calling.
I have the adantage of having that wonderfull bluetooth stuff, but with my siemens phone w/o bluetooth, the earpiece still reaches and fits on the phone.
Hope it helps,
Jeff
I saw a gadget (£20) that clips over the earpiece and transmits the sound to your car radio - you just tune the radio into the right frequency and select it when the phone rings.
Mind you, the bloke on the market stall didn't explain how you used it to speak back - maybe just shout at it?
