I live in Hackney North London, use Gatwick TVR, but its a bit of a treck, anyone able to reccomend somewhere closer? the car is 10 years old so not to worried about main dealership, just someone who knows what they are doing and can fix/service/mot the car

Top cats, Fernhurst, David Batty, Tower View. All very good independents (apparently), and all tend to get recommended on here.

Some closer than others but all probably a bit cheaper than Gatwick TVR with no sacrifice in quality or service.

TVR-Centre in Barnet for the friendly dealership experience.

Tower View considerably cheaper than The TVR Centre. Not much else about in North London.

BTW a bit brave parking up a TVR in Hackney

No offence but you are the first person who has classified Hackney as North london!

I too live in Hackney, and take mine to David Batty. He's Guildford way, which is a bit of a treck, but it's not that often (he says touching wood!).

Where abouts in Hackney are you? You haven't got a yellow Chim by any chance? i keep spotting one on my road, but never see the driver!

Tamago,

I haven't particularly noticed a Chim around Commercial Road, although I do use that route quite often when going to see the folks back out in North Kent. I'm based inbetween Angel and Shoreditch. Mine's an Antuiga Blue (lighter than Starmist) - 1998/S.

The one I do see is a bright yellow Chim (never noticed year), and it seems to be staying at the next door block of flats to me. Only spot it at w/e's - not sure if it's a resident or a visitor!

Anyone on here?
