Black alloy heater fan knob...

Anyone know where one can be obtained now? My knob is the original black rubbery feeling one and it seems that Leven only have the bright ones left. My dash dial surrounds and heater controls are all black so the bright finish wouldn't quite "go"...

ok, now i want a alloy dial for mine as well, but like hell im paying £25 plus post for one that needs double sided sticky tape.

is it just me that thinks leven are mega mega expensive?
just looked at an alloy car parts site and they are so cheap its unreal, but sadly dont do the dial as its too old

Yup - it's basically just a sheath that fits over the existing knob ... think of it as a shallow alloy condom ...

I'm sure that getting items produced in the numbers that are required for the small number of TVR owners that actually buy the stuff does make for some nasty economic conundrums so I'm not going to slate them myself for that ...

I could get a bright finish "condom" and get it anodised black I guess but the local anodisers would laugh at me bringing that in!

I had a black Leven blower knob on my Griff years ago, the finish came off and they sent me another one, and it happened again. They were only the standard item sprayed black, neither of mine were black anodised. I gave up then,cleaned off the paint and sold it on.I then had to replace the complete blower switch as the sticky pads had damaged the original knob surface. Strangely, the black alloy dash buttons I got were properly black anodised, and still have those on the car today.

Any idea what the heater knob is from originally, or is it bespoke TVR?

And what about my fog light switch?

I switched it on several weeks ago and the button flew off into the car never to be seen again.......
