Seems odd that there's a few owners who sell their car on e-bay and still cant spell chimaera!! Where does the "a" go???

not only that but would you bid almost £10k for a car that you haven't even seen a picture of, let alone in the flesh.

Well, according to the Oxford dictionary, losing the "a" turns the chimaera into a "wild impossible scheme or fancy"...

Perhaps the so-called owners on e-bay are suffering from hallucinations and in reality (not the virtual world!) they don't actually have a chimaera to sell!!
