battery -immobiliser reset.

Went to go to the Suffolk meet today - damn battery flat! Not totally flat - all warning lights coming on but Alarm has gone to sleep so no rem. lock/unlock. Car in garage, no access to battery direct so tried a jump to the alternator terminal. Not cranking over. SO have connected up proper charger (to alt. terminal) and left for a couple of hours on high charge rate. Still won't crank! Fuel pump priming, but nothing from starter. All was fine last time, no starter problems or symptoms. Is it the immobiliser?

Bit difficult with the nearside up against the garage wall. Although I wouldn't recommend it in writing, I have full confidence and sufficient experience to ensure this is safe.
