Anyone know what other vehicle seats will actually fit in a Chimaera and can match the colour scheme - mine is blue/magnolia?
I've seen a few old posts here saying Jag XJS sport, I quite fancy Honda S2000 if they fit, or possibly Tuscan seats if I can find them. I don't really want to go to an aftermarket bucket seat, I would prefer something that is a good match to the vehicle, without detracting from the character.

I know this has been covered before, but I can't find anyone who has actually listed what will fit.

Tuscan seats fit well, and i have seen S2000 seats fitted successfully but not sure how much effort it was. Cerbera seats also fit (were standard on the last few cars from the factory)

Whats the reason for wanting to change?

My drivers seat just ripped, so I was looking into recovering or replacing. The MGFs seats look like a cheap candidate, just need to try them when the wife isn't about wink

These are in mine. Probax Elise/Exige seats. Transformed the car. Comfy, supportive and great on track.

Thanks for the information, my existing seats need the foam replacing due to getting wet - the foam is breaking down, they now smell really musty plus the leather is watermarked, I know I could get the foam replaced and the leather recanolised, but I thought if I am going to spend that kind of money I could probably replace the seats with something a little better.

+1

Barcelona to Le Havre in about 12 hours. Actually felt refreshed afterwards... but roof off most of the way helped.

My 800 miles was from La Bartiere - Le Havre ferry to portsmouth then to Ayrshire nearly 800 miles in a day no discomfort just tiredness biggrin

Hi Cerberamatt. I made this as part of a bespoke one off interior revamp. I have the moulds for the centre console and complete dash pod, but to make another would not be cheap and the finish would not be as perfect as you may want.

The interior was featured in Sprint a few years back now. Carbon dash pod, dash panel, centre console and door cards.

As said before tuscan seats fit only need to re-drill the two rear bolt holes, i had to run a thread down the two front bolts as the shank was far to long, IIRC 8.125mm die, but they were from a SAG so tuscan ones may differ!

I'm just fitting Tuscan seats, looks pretty straight forward, as indicated the front holes line up and the rears just need drilling, overall seat width is 50mm bigger than the Chim seats which is about as wide as you can go without contact with the door trim.
