TVR Owners in the North West
Discussion
Hi,
This is my first time posting and was wondering if there are any ChimaeraTVR owners around the Warrington area or Cheshire. I bought my car last October (Chimaera 500) in Gold, I believe the real name for the colour is Rolls –Royce gold..don’t know how true that is. Will post some pics ASAP.

Thanks for the reply, hopefully will see you at the meet. What car have you got?
Did you read the post on the Austec exhaust upgrade? Download the guys video..wouldn’t advise it if you do not wish to spend any pennies! I'm debating whether to do this mod, even though I have sworn to leave the car as standard!!!! It sounds superb..argh!
Cheers
Dave

Not seen or heard you around Birchwood although I have seen a red Chim knocking about. BTW - Welcome Dave. I am 4 months in the 'I must fix that' cylce so if I can give any advice pls give me a shout and I will be happy to help or point you in the direction of the endless info on PH's.

Hi Dave
I've got a Starmist Green 4L Chim & like you have thought of doing this, that & the other to it but in the event have concentrated on getting it up to scratch. Did go to look at a 5L a little while ago - awesome. The 4 is more than adequate but the performance difference was marked to say the least. Any 500 owners out there want to part ex....? Thought not!
Hope to see you in the next month or two

Hi Dave,
Chimaera owner from Chester here. Just coming up to 12 months ownership. I use the car everyday and have suffered terrible trouble and expense!!!
(a 6" piece of fuel pipe and a 15amp fuse) So, all those horror stories proved to be true... not!
Fantastic car. Haven't been to any events in the NW, but did Le Mans last year and noticed one or two TVRs down there. You owe it to yourself to get there in your new toy, trust me.
There appear to be quite a few owners in and around Chester, but I only know one personally.
Please give me a shout if you know of anything coming up in our area.
Best regards,
GC

Hi and welcome.
There are a few Chim owners around (I have a Griff, but don't hold that against me).
Get yourself along to the TVRCC meet at Lymm (2nd Tuesday of month). There are three of us 'lady' PH'ers propping the bar up.

Hi Dave, I live near Blackburn and own a Crystal Topaz Tuscan and a Rosso Pearl Chimaera 450 (currently up for grabs on classifieds).
I have made a few meets at The Rigbye Arms (West Lancs TVRCC) but have yet to take the Tuscan to a meet or run out. Soon to be rectified.
Ahhhh, so the good Doctor Prater has acquired the Tuscan at last !!! Hope you're gonna clean it more often than the Chim !!
