Need for Speed

I'm looking into many different ways of gaining a bit more speed.. I've got a box standard 4 litre at the moment and have been looking at buying a Griff or Cerb so as to aid me in my quest for a little bit extra.. Then I came to thinking about superchargers...Anyone ever put one on a 4lite chim, or any v8 TVR and how much would such a job set me back.

TVR Power are looking at doing this at the moment I think.

A Cerb or a 5 litre Griff/Chim will probably be the easiest on both the stress levels and the wallet...

Could be worth talking to Richard at peninsula, I think he is looking at superchargers

By far the easiest and most cost effective way would be to trade up. I'm sure it would cost more to convert a 4.0 to a 5.0 than to sell the 4 and buy a 5.

Any particular reason why you want to keep the same car?

Only because the thought of giving it to a dealer for a very low trade in value makes me feel a bit ill.

Would strongly recommend a test drive in a 5.0 litre

Tom, according to your profile you've already owned a Griffith, surely you know enough about these cars by now to know how to get a bit extra out of them? Rich...
