Trying to get oil pump off, but what is the tool used to get the housing off, and where can I get one.

If my engine is knacked, will the block still be O.K for a possible conversion from 4.6 to 5.2 by RPI?

Depends on what has knackered the engine! If you take into acoount the time to strip down and clean the old engine and then rebuild it... may be cheaper to buy a new engine. You would also need to get the ECU remapped as well.
