It may need to be reconnected to the starter motor - i'm thinking off the top of my head - i'll have a look in the bible tonight. Perhaps you could email Steve Heath or also post on the Griff forum.

Paul a better description would help. I have no idea if you are referring to the wires that clamp onto the battery or the other end of these wires.

ok,,,errm,,better description,,,,--
looking at my battery

two black wires coming from battery from {left hand side} {all connected}

Then on the right of the batt two red wires coming from it,,they are both connected FROM the battery BUT the other end of one of them is loose.
THICK RED WIRE WITH SILVER END

ps the red wire that is wired ok, goes from the battery
towards the stereo area of the car, which of course i cant see

No idea. That is not normal. If the loose end is lying about in the footwell then either someone has disconnected it and pulled it through the body work or it is an addition. The other end should not be accessible. Could have been added as a charging point???

What type of silver end? Something that you put a bolt through? Something that clamps to a battery post? How thick is the wire? 1 cm or less?
