red wire/battery problem Resolved,

thks for your help...i got the car jump started and eventually got it to Tower Services,,which they sorted,,,,,the erroneous red wire was nothing to do with the problem,,the wires apparently left on the battery must in the past used to charge..,,
the actually problem was due to a loose alternator not charging the battery, not being mechanically minded i hope thats a good description,,,,,needless the say,,all battery extra wires,,have been removed....
