No Dipped beam

came home from South Yorks meet yesterday to find that we had no dipped beam. Ah Ha I though fuse gone - good time to finally find out where the fuse box is. Bloody hell - half an hour later , upside-down in the passenger seat with a torch in one hand and the bible in the other I finally found which fuse system we had. Tested the fuse - OK - found the relay and managed to turn the light switch whilst in the antipodean position - relay clicking OK - eventually got my hand thru the grille hole and behind the driver's side light to pull out the bulb - tested this and knackered. So both bulbs must have gone at the same time - does this happen often???, also cannot get hand up behind the passenger side lamp so will have to take the wheel off and fanny around that way - what a sh*te design to have to take the bloody wheel off to change the headlamp bulb ! Ah the joys of TVR ownership...:heheh:

Why not just drive around with main-beam permanently on like every other numpty?
