Does anyone else have an interior light that flashes on every now and again, normally when going over something bumpy? I supose I should be greatful it isn't a blue flashing light.....

check the door switch.are the contacts dirty/corroded.or is the little rubber pad thats normally stuck to the door, that pushes against it when the door closes, missing.this might cause a marginal intermittent connection.

Exactly the same happened to me. Take the switches off the sill and give them a good clean. I put mine back on with a couple of small washers behind them - problem solved. Goes without saying I checked I had the rubber bungs on the doors as well.

If rubber is old replace with slightly thicker rubber

Less likely but happened on mine - dodgy connector where the wiring comes down the hoop and plugs into the main loom on n/s pillar behind the door, as I moved it the light flickered so cleaned and refitted and all is well.
