Spoke to Austec..they took the sump off.. And no broken dip stick holder... which is nice..just need the new one now... Should be ready tonight.. so may get the tain down to Crawley this evening and pick her up... going to need to be careful on the roads though on the drive back...damn it!!

Took mine to Austec on Saturday so probably saw yours. Mind you it's not looking good. New disks/pads new top O/S wishbone oil presure sender is leaking and sump gasket/seal is weeping. Waiting for mike to give me the call back so that I can go Oh well, nature of the beast as they say.

Sorry to hear that mate... I'll have a new sump gasket soon aswell..once they put the sump back on.
Mr Credit card is getting a good beating at the moment.. Never mind a... I told the Mrs that it was either the ACT bits ..or I go and spend more than I can afford on a Cerb or Tuscan... Good financial sense I think..she didn't seem to agree.. Thought anything more than £90 (she has a fiesta) for a service, is too much to spend on a car... Not too sure how long the ACT bits and the chip will keep me happy before I need to go for a different car....watch this space.
