lupo gti headlights and front fog lights?!

hello guys, i have been reading the posts about the headlight conversions for a while now as i will be going for a try next week !
i have just had this idea and wanted to hear what you guys think about it...

what if instead of the normal lupo headlights, we use the gti version which i believe has the indicator inside (and the headlight is xenon!)
and instead of the front indicators, i would put some fog lights??

People have talked about the lupo GTI lights with the integrated indicator which seems a really good idea, but will no doubt cost more in parts.

Personally i would just put blanking grills where the indicators are to clean up the front end but i can't see why fog lights would'nt work.

I considered the GTi lights but decided against them at the time and fitted standard ones to keep the front end looking original.

No reason why not to fit them, fitting should be the same, just a matter of taste,

heres a quick image that i did...i believe it will look like this...
its just that the gti headlights cost a lot more than the regulars ... but on the other hand the look and the illumination quality will be different ...

My headlight lens got smashed by a stone on Sunday. grrrr
But is this the excuse I need to swap to Lupo's?

Replacement lens £35 or so
Lupo lights £55 each
how much are GTi ones?
they didn't come up when I checked GSF & Eurocarparts

And how didfficult is it to do by yourself? (and has anyone got a FAQ with pics on it?)
(I installed a Turbo on my MX5, so can weald a hammer)

The other question would be, how easy is it to swap bulbs ans/or adjust the beam pattern once installed?

a little update ...
i have been checking the lupo gti headlamps and they cost around 450 EUROS each (in germany)!!!
on the other hand the normal lupo headlamps cost like 100 euros per each in turkey ...

i am not able to find the ones with the integrated indicators, can anyone provide me the part number for those ??
because in that case the chimaera indicators can be changed with fog lights??...
