Hi again... thanx for advice on interior light - I imagine it's the same reason for my central locking clicking on and off about 8 times a second!!! Doesn't happen all the time just occasionally at low speed. I'll check the rubber bits & switch things tomorrow, but if they're ok, then....er...maybe I should just cross that bridge when I get to it....

This normally happens on mine then the doors aren’t closed properly and I try to lock it.

Yep, mine did the same when:

1. The push switches on the door sill got warn out.
2. A bit of over zealous cleaning and managed to knock the rubber contact pads off.

In both cases its fixable for under £5

Mine did this as well turned out the door locking motor was playing up, new one from Maplins for £9 fixed it a treat.

Same problem traced to a loose locking solenoid
