Had my first hardshoulder adventure last night. Driving down South I reached the M3 at Southampton & it suddenly became snowy. By the M27 it got really really snowy. So I'm driving slow, my car is being a bit slidey & sketchy but OK. Then, to make things really complicated my windscreen wipers managed to get tangled up!!! I mean, WTF??? I guess one got caught on ice and the other caught it up or something. Anyway, within about 1 second I could see nothing at all and had to pull blind onto the hardshoulder judging the distance by looking at the barrier (couldn't see white lines or the edge of the road!). Luckily when I deconfused the wipers they were OK and I could go on my merry, very slow, slidey way. Had a few moments going across the New Forest (sudden sideways moments going up hills and so forth) but made it home for much needed booze and herbal relaxant.
TVR's definitely don't like snow!!!
Cheers & watch yourselves out there.

herbal relaxant ? is that some kind of laxative ??? I would have though driving the TIV in the snow would have had that effect...
