possible alarm probs.

hi guys & gals,

My local pub have phoned a couple of times saying my alarm has gone off a few times, but only for about 10 seconds each blast. It's a few hundred yards from my house so I didn't hear it, and someone else said it went off when they slammed their car door when they parked next to it. Can you adjust the sensitivity and if so.....er.. where can I find it ?
