Newbie owner

Hi everyone.
With the help of Rob Ingleby I have finally done it and realised a life long dream. In the garage I have a 1998 Chimaera 400 in GTS Viper blue. We spent last year preparing the home. Painted the garage floor in grey.....5 times, put up 4 overhead strip lights, improved the locks and added heating. Now she is in the garage and I can't wait to get her out again.

Big thanks to you all on this forum - you guys and the bible have given me the confidence to achieve my dream and I am lucky to have the full support of the better half. Role on the good weather and I look forward to any events down here in the South.

Congrats...........best thing you could ever have done. 1 Year on, the cost of 1 relay and 2 tyres later and the grin just doesn't stop !! These "unreliable" TVRs eh ??

Where do you hail from in West Sussex?

I am new to the area and live in Ashington - So far if the other half does not come out when the Chim is fired-up the husbands of the road are q'ing up. I'm not use to all this attention, I even seem to attract it on the road - lowered windows, big thumbs up etc!!........... I now know I am not alone in the love of the V8 growl!

You could have come down to the Brighton Burble yesterday, there were about 50 other TVR's. There sould be something happening on the 28th locally so keep an eye on the Events/Meetings bit, maybe see you there.

Hi Big Al,
I have spotted quite a few Chims in the area, especially going up and down the A24 on the weekend.

A meet up would be great, theres loads of great watering holes around here.

Do you guys go to the West Sussex TVRCC meet at Goodwood each month?

Too many other meets going on, just never got around to it.
