They are quite quick to 100 but it really trails off after that...

25-30 seconds at a guess...

Actual or inidicated..?

I don't think you'd get to actual 150 in a 4.0, although I've had an indicated 155 mph..

and it was like this:

An ex of mine was trying to tell me that there was no way a Chim could do 0-150 in 25 secs, he said the only car that could do that was a McLaren F1.

He does talk shite though sometimes and i like to think its my duty of correctly inform him when he is wrong

There are plenty of cars that can hit it in 25 seconds.

On reflection though that may be a little optomistic for the Chim.

I'd be interested to see the 1/4 mile simulator programme elsewhere on PH modified to show the run to 150mph....can it be done. Would be very interesting to see how the cars compare.

Most roadtesters use a 1 mile straight to accelerate up, it takes a quick car to reach 0-150 in less than a mile for the record here are some test results

CAR 0-150

Chim 400 n/a ( 130 @ 25.1)
V8 S n/a ( 130@ 27.0)
Griff 4.3 n/a (137 @ 23.7 stan K/m time)
Griff 500 30.9
Tamora 3.6 n/a (147 @22.2 stan K/m time)
Tuscan 4.0 25.7
Cerby 4.2 22.5
Cerby 4.5 21.1
Tuscan S 23.9
Let the auguments begin!! my car faster than yours

a macca will do 0-150 in just over 12 secs!!

a while ago in top gear a red rose cerbera did it in 19.5 secs, zonda about 17 i think, murcialago same as cerb and 911tt around 20-21 so i think its safe to assume your ex is talking shite

bet the average speed of chimaera over the year is quicker than anything with a SP6 engine which is sat in Blackpool for 3 months every 12
