Could anyone recommend good paintwork repairer in Leicester.

My Chimaera got a 6 inch scratch rear near side bumper when a lamppost jumped out at me whilst reversing. Doh!

I know TMS could fix it, but they could be quite expensive.

Give TMS a call, they have the number of a local independent specialist paint shop, TVR's are their forte'(even do flip flop's!)

Can most touch-up shops accurately match TVR colours? Mine is in Cosmos Blue.

Any recommendations for Leicester paintshops gratefully recieved!

Would be really grateful if someone can email me some telephone numbers...annoying 5" scratch on the rear offside bumper courtesy of someone who didn't bother to hang around after they pranged me in a carpark!

They can only match a limited range of TVR colours as I tried them for mine and no match found.

This is a TVR specific colour. Toyota did a Cosmos Blue, which is more purply (like Rolex Blue). You can get a touchup pot from your dealer. I know paintshops can match the colour, but I doubt they'll go to the trouble just for a touchup pot's worth.
