I've managed to crack the light cover (i.e. smoked perspex bit) of my fiesta-lit Chim. through some highly skilled reversing. I've done a quick search and it sounds like this is easy to replace but is a "real" TVR component. Does anyone have any idea if I'll have to sell one or both kidneys to buy a replacement cover?
I've a brand new pair if you're interested (was going to replace the ones on my L reg Chim before its mishap). Not sure how much I paid for them but if you find out you can have them for 1/2 price + p&p (at cost)
Marc
Thanks - although it's a sad tale that leads to them being available. I'll see what info I can dig out and drop you an eMail.
Sad indeed. Repairs wouldn't have been a big deal if it was a normal car, unfotruntely, or not, TVR's aren't.
Never mind, in the end it's only a car and the the main thing is I wasn't hurt. Think TC and ESP for the next car!
