Fuel Guage Fault

Pleased with myself today...last July I had this strange fault.. I was driving and then all of a sudden the fuel gauge went to zero. I took it to the nearest dealer, the bloke looked at the guage in the boot (right hand side of the fuel tank) fiddled with it and then, hey presto, the fuel guage was working again. connectors were loose or something.

the same thing happened this afternoon. I got back to flat, unscrewed the fuel gauge and refitted the connectors...gauge back to normal. ONLY THIS TIME IT DIDN'T COST ME £75.
