Difficult call - have you read the latest Sprint, has a "trade" view of what's what.
I'd say you will see '93 Chims with similar mileage at £9.5K to £11.5 K private sales (some even more !!)
I'll wager a non-TVR Dealer wouldn't allow more £8.5/9K in part-ex.
Probably not what you wanted to hear ??

If it gives you an idea, mine has been advertised on PH for about a month. 98 R with 51k on it. My personal opinion is it is worth every penny of it's £15750, but I would think that wouldn't I?

I part-exed my 4.0 Chim and only got £10,500 for it. That was last April, 95M 56,000 miles, good nick, no niggles. That was at an indy.
At the same time, I was offered £7,000 by a Merc dealership in part-ex for a C43 AMG. Well, that was after I had managed to convince them it wasn't a 1.6 MX5...couldn't believe how ignorant they were!

Personally I think cars in the right colour and good condition will sell straight away (assuming they are as described). Some colours are more common/less appealing/more of an acquired taste.
I put mine up for sale at 13,995 for a week to see if there were any takers (it wasn't quite ready for sale -I was in the process of getting it MOT'd etc so I thought I'd try a highish price and see who took the bait). I had a few calls and possible viewings. Then I changed the price to 13,500 the following Sunday night. The car was sold by Tuesday, I think I could have sold it several times at that price.
My verdict - if your car is a more common colour, then you are going to have to adjust the price downwards. As much as you may love the colour it is one of many if you start looking at ads on Autotrader. If you want a sale then don't ask silly money either - some cars are clearly too expensive. If you want a quick sale then drop your pants on the price. Look at what you'd get in p/ex and just make 1-2k more, not 4-5k.

my opinion as someone in the market is thats its not so much the commonality of the colour that effect value more the desirability. I'm not even bothering to view the colours i don't like regardless of the cars condition.
My faves are the red and blue pearls, TBH i would care if ever other chim was these colours its the colour i want.

yeah I agree. Whilst the common colours and more plentiful in terms of the number for sale, the more extreme colours can also be an arse to sell - chances are if it was uncommon when specced as new, its going to be a less popular choice second hand too.

Trefor - I'm a bit confused by you're reply. Are you saying that Chianti Starmist is a common colour? I only ever seem to see variations of BR Green or dark blue's.
Although in saying that the time i think about selling there's already a chianti on autotrader!!

so its a bit harder to shift that a standard blue or green colour - who cares? you will find someone willing to be different when you come to sell. Personally, I think that is aboslutely stunning colour and dont think i have seen another. Go and make an offer, worst they can do is say no. When I started looking for a Chim I gave Rob Ingleby a tight spec to work on - including colours. I'd just sold a ruby mica red wedge so didn't want red again, there were loads of green chims/griffs at our monthly meet so didn't want green, neither did black or white come into the equation. That left me with BLUE (or yellow?) so I only looked at blue ones. After buying mine (in that rare mica blue colour 
) I saw one, similar spec, in Ocean Haze and just drooled! Seen some lovely greens too since, and alternative reds.
