Replaced the one on the block(water temp/fuel sensor) for £9.00 the effect was amazing,crisper smoother response so decided for nine quid might as well do the one on the injector bank, but... where is it?any pointers would help.

Er, you mean the fuel temp sensor? I think it's part of the pressurised system and I would not recommend removing it unless you know what you're doing. Also, best not to get carried away with replacing stuff

It's not 10 quid its about 25 and it is different part no SNB803 if memory serves correct, you'll need to depressurise fuel system, bleed valve is on drivers side of fuel rail, easy to do but make sure the car is cold to avoid fire
