I've got some chips and small scratches in my Chim

I would like to "touch" them up, but don't need a 5Litre tin of paint from ICI. What's the best bet for getting a smallish tin of paint for touch up? does anyone know where I can get some from?

My Chim is a darkish Metalic Grey colour with a Mauve tinge to it, I don't know if its a standard colour, but I know the chap I bought it from gave me a match pot from somewhere (using the colour number) and its not a very close match at all.

NB I'm in the Chippenham / Gloucester / Bristol area! (Work / Home / Home)

Thing is, I think that's what the chap, previously, did and the pot he gave me isn't right, its the right metalic grey and right shade but doesn't have the mauvey tinge to it!

Are the colour codes exact matches, or do all the same shade metalic greys have the same code and there are some variations within the colour code?

NB Do you have the tel number for the TVR body shop?
For the sake of 12 quid its worth a try!

Big Al.

My Chims got TWO paint codes. One on the vin plate the other in the hand book.

The one in my hand book is the best match to the original colour.

Speak to the factory and ask for Kevin Monahon (not sure if that is spelt right) if this is a pearl or difficult colour.
I asked Jason @ TVRBodyShop for a touch up stick but the paint code came up as a yellow and the code for pearl white was completely different.
I haven't spoken to him yet so not sure if he is the man.
