I’ve managed to damage my rear wing whilst putting the roof in the boot and now have two deep scoures in the bodywork, can anyone recommend a body and paint specialist In the West Mid’s region ? Edited by youth on Wednesday 28th March 09:37

chips away are quite good if they can work out the paint match. they are national and mobile they have a www.chipsaway.co.uk or somthing like that web site G

Anyone used Chipsaway b4 ? anyone have any other suggestions ? ......some b****rd bike just left a great scratch in my rear wing. did he stop ....what do you think ....he just b*****ed off..... I may have calmed down by Easter .....

Yep i have, they got rid of the graze caused by a wall at le mans , a fag burn on the boot lid courtorsy of some toe rag, and re did the mirrors for about 125 quid!!!!!! all in, agood job to, although it can be difficult matching the paint as surprise tvr codes are not in the book..

You have my sympathies - I had mine vandalised in the street - keys down both sides, depending how deep the scratch is you may be able to buff it down with a rubbing compound and use coloured polish to minimise the effect until you get a respray. I went to my dealer (Hawthorns), they had a professional rubbing compound (by 3M I think) that was about 20 times better than T-Cut.
