has anyone got a clue what relay is clicking some where around the steering when the engine is warm generally, it does not seem to be doing , not like an indicator it contacts on and off instantly then a 4 second gap then does it again, is it normal?
Are you sure it's a relay. I get sounds like that and it's just heat expansion. It happens more if I bring warm air into the cab.
Fag lighter or something catching the mirror joy stick?

I think its the milometer counting 10th of mile. My 94 does the same!
i thought the same about the tenth of a mile checked as i drove ,not in unison and does it one day i drive and not the other, also it soundsn exactly like a relay minute mechanical sounding and to constant to be anything catching like the mirror joystick you could set your watch to the next click

Is it constant like and indicator? Does it come and go? How loud? as loud as indicators?
i was going to ask the same question!
it is as loud as an indicator, coming from a different area and constant in the sense of it will click on and off almost instant then a four second delay and will repeat itself in a continuos loop
Could be the movement detector for the alarm - since having a new alarm fitted now find the micro-wave detector in the central arm rest energises a relay in the dash for the alarm when running. Mines an early one so I too have the 10th of a mile click as well !
