The other day I noticed that the rubber seal on the roof panel (driver's side) had come out a bit. I duly pushed it back in. However, now I get a whistling from the driver's side when travelling over 30mph. Looking at the door-roof panel junction there is clearly a gap.

On the passenger's side of the roof panel the rubber seal extends past the windscreen end of the panel by about 3/4 of an inch. This makes a nice seal with the door. But the driver's side is flush with the end of the panel. Any ideas of how I can seal this gap ?

thanks in advance

Dave

I'd pull the seal out a bit and stretch it ever so slightly as I eased it back in. Cost: £0. Time: 10 minutes.

Btw, what's it whistling?

Cheers Manek, I'll give it a go.

FYI, it is whistling a very nasty tune , Roger Whittaker meets Slayer

Sorry, I started to write something rude about stretching things to fit but chickened out and the original question zapped off on its own! I should leave this kind of thing to the big boys. I'm HARDLY EVER allowed to drive our TVR anyway...........and how do I stop my name appearing? I thought I'd elected to to be a.k.a. SPARKLER. Probably my last posting......fed up with this now.
