At long last, my Chimaera is back from tvr bodyshop - and looks superb - thanks Jason.

It's now at Joolz for some proper TLC. Unfortunately, it was raining when I arrived, so have only included a couple of shots, until sun comes out and I can take some decent ones.

I've updated profile (I think). Pictures at the moment are pretty crap, due to:

Bloody rain/lousy light
Hand shaking due to excitement getting car back
Crap camera (left good one at home)
Being photographically challenged
Joolz trying to replicate a misfire on a cerbera

The actual colour of the car is not as shown in the pictures (as explained above) but will take some good ones once Joolz has finished and the weather improves again.

Edited 'cos I'm a muppet

Looks absolutely fantastic, I really like the Tuscan style headlights. Nice work, did you have the rears updated or were they already on the Chim. If not, I'd be very interested to know the cost of the rear conversion...

To answer questions so far:

Los Angeles - colour is red glow pearl, which is the tvr replacement colour for rosso red. Although I actually prefer the rosso, due to the problematic issues with fading etc., I decided to go with the red glow pearl to avoid matching in for the future. As I have said, the photos at the moment do not do it justice.

Kslett - the rear light upgrades are shown and priced here www.tvrbodyshop.co.uk/LightUpgrades.asp and in my opinion, are a vast improvement on the originals, particularly the colour coded light holders.

Just need to decide now where to put that nice PH badge on the back. Tried it in four places, but still not sure . . .

Just touching the Chimaera badge, top or bottom IMO.

Anyone else think the badge might look better on the right side?

I've got mine on the right hand side a) it balances up the Chimaera badge b) it fills an unused gap.

Nice colour by the way, I can see why you are excited about getting it back.
