I phoned five dealers and one specialist trying to get hold of one of tese SNR802 (or whatever the designation is!) things and not one of them had any in stock. Two of the dealers even went so far as to say they had some on order from Blackpool, but couldn't say when or if they'd have them in. Seems daft that a fairly standard part, which is known to cause problems, wouldn't be carried in regular stock.
Anyway, I found a company locally who wholesale parts for Land Rover, and lo and behold, they had heaps of the damn things, in stock, and at £10.10 inc VAT! Five minutes later, and my Chim has a new lease of life!
The company is called APB Trading Ltd (www.apb-trading.com) and they're based on the Hartlebury Trading Estate, near Kidderminster, Worcestershire. They sell one made by "Britpart" and the code is ETC8496.
Hope that helps anyone still looking!

The only thing I would say is that many of the replacement brands are really very unreliable and quickly die with the extreme heat under a TVR bonnet. I've heard most of the Lucas jokes but they really arethe best around. They are actually made by Sagem now which could explain a lot.
Agreed SHPUB, but when five separate dealers where unable to tell me when they'd even get stock, much less actually have one, I needed a quick fix. It's certainly dealt with the problem, and at £10.50, I can afford three or more in a row before I have to face the main dealers offering of £30+VAT+Fitting!
It's not elegant, but serves well as a quick fix until a dealer manages to come up with the goods.
