Yes and no.... which particular Griff and Chimaera wheels are you considering?

Shpub,

First off, thanks for the bible - i use it far too often...

I also am interested in knowing if any of TVR's wheels that would have left the factory fitted to a Griff would necessarily fit a Chim and vice versa.

Of course i am aware about the whole 15" front, 16" rear, i am ignoring that.

Cheers,

I have a 1996 Griff with the seven spoke wheels fitted.

Will only certain Chim wheels fit then?
What about older Griff alloys (5spokes), are they the same size as the 7spokes?

They will all fit... the tracking may vary by a few mm.

If you are thinking of changing your wheels let me know, i would be interested in yours.

I was thinking of either finding some of those 7 spoke wheels or refurbing mine. Mine aren't damaged at all, but i think someone at somepoint used to use acid based wheel cleaners and left them on a bit long or used them too often.

Cheers.

verysideways - Im greedy and want 2 sets!

My 7 spokes are in pretty good condition and I want to keep them that way. Hence wanting cheap alternatives for track days. (Plus the 7spokes have brand new tyres on).
