took the car to Surrey Rolling Road today and having watched a fellow pistonhead poster get some fab figures, it was my turn. I was hoping for something above 220 and was really pleased when this came up.

Apparantly the air/fuel ratio is good as well. Icing on the car was hearing it being driven about - louder and deeper than I thought.

Happy days

Great result. Is it all standard?

Nice result! As I understand it that's very good for a standard 400?

From what I can tell, it is standard apart from the ACT decat y piece. I had wondered if it had a different cam as it feels a lot more powerfull above 3000 revs but it all looks fairly smooth. It must just be a heavier boot when going up the rev range so it feels quicker.

The other car on before me put out some big numbers. I wont steal his thunder but coming home I have been thinking how much fun that much much power would be.

What year is your car? What fuel were you running? Did you De Cat it, so can you remember how it felt without the De Cat compared to with?

It is a L reg - cant remember if it is a 93 or 94. I always use the Shell 98 ron petrol. I have driven it with and with the cat - I have one in the shed as a spare for MOT but it goes through...just about and comparing with and without it feels a bit crisper without but that may be subjective and due to the noise.

Nice. Mines L reg too.

Is Shell stuff still 98 then? Is it called V Power now? That's 97 isn't it?
