Wiper Arm (up my back)

Went to a salvage yard in NW for a Chim wiper arm.
The TMS web site advertise a new one for £12:50. The figure quoted by the miserable bloke in the parts department was £20 quid. A bit steep I thought. My offer of 10 quid was met with the comment 'Its not worth risking our lives to get it off the car in the scrap yard.'
Net result of their poor attitude is I don't get my wiper arm, they don't earn £10 plus they loose out on all the other things I might have bought off them, as, I will not be making a trip into that particular valley again.
PS I only want the bloody spring out of it
