I'm looking to buy a chimera AND keep my Lotus elise 160s (greedy!), problem is my garage has only 4.35m of space left as it is a double deep garage! Could some nice soul please tell me the length of a chimera so i can be sure it will fit in the afore mentioned 4.35 m!?

Also any comments on which TVR to go for if i want reliability (as much as a TVR can have that!) for £18k. I was thinking a low milage 98's' plate 5.0 chimera.

Hi Matt,

I can measure up tomorrow, but my best guess is that you will fit easily at 4.35m. A Griff is sub 4m.

As for the most reliable TVR for sub £18k, then assuming you don't want to "drop down" to an S, the cheapest and most reliable of the 'modern' TVR's will be a Chim or Griff...
