My wiper motor has had a fit!!

it no longer parks correctly, I have been told that I have to remove the motor to replace a switch that is fitted to the underside of it, is this correct? if so how is it done?

Try the relay 1st, the one in the fuse box.

I had a similar problem on my Chimera 4.0 just after I bought it (10 days ago) The wipers wouldn't park and the intermittent wipe didn't work.

I re-seated the relay, shown as wiper delay relay on the wiring diagram, in the fuse box and all nopw works fine.

Hope yours is as easy to fix.

Common fault , this happened to mine , phone your nearest TVR dealer and ask for a wiper park switch cost is about five pounds , takes five minutes to fit.

I just got the switch, and it's actually £10.28 from the TVR Centre in Barnet

yep you are right, but what can you do? no one else sells them, it took two mins to do just remnove the to nuts and loosend the one where the linkage goes inside the scuttle panel. Then twist the motor up and snap the swithc off the bottom of the motor. The new one just slides on not any trouble at all.
