Well, I've finally got round to taking some proper pictures of my baby, instead of the video snapshot and the pictures I nabbed from Maneks profile when he sold the car to me (it still had the old lights then to!)

Nice motor, tell me I have been thinking of moving my number plate to the same position as you, did you just fix the plate directly to the body work with a couple of self toppers or have you used something else to do the job?

i looked at doing the same but ended up mounting a small plate on the base of the grill in the end.

I looked over a number of cars before i did anything with mine and they were all held on with a couple of self tappers.

Yep, just held in with two self tappers.

I got someone to hold the numberplate in position and drilled two pilot holes. Then just screwed it on.

They hold it solid, it's been there for a year or so now.

Also, I chopped the numberplate down on the sides a bit.
