Was in the same race and sat behind the safety car after the incident for five laps whilst they cleared the wreckage. The guy got out and walked away, testament to how strong these cars really are. Joey Fosters crash was something else though, how he survived that i dont know, apparently the wing stays broke and he was 10 clicks faster into Eau rouge!!

So what's the verdict? Looks different from the onboard footage compared with the footage looking down the track.

Was that a valid place to be for DJ? How much overlap did he get? 50/50? Or outrageous punt?

If any of the B word is to be laid (as thankfully - other than DJ's wallet - the repercussions were minimal in the final analysis, why would anyone 'bother'?), B the absence of any real 'deterrent/punishment' for leaving the track @ La Source? 9 times out of 10, TM wouldn't have been there after the LS 'cars all over the show' thingy, but this time ....... he was - reminded me of someone joining a motorway at 100mph and going straight to the outside lane. Is that a criticism? No, definitely not; Spa's a racetrack, not a motorway.
