Hi All,

Has anyone on here managed to find a reliable way of adding a gear indicator
to a 1200 Kawasaki ? The one on my Radical dash has totally given up along with the low fuel level light

Thanks

It is a known problem - on both counts. Neither ever worked reliably. If you do opt for a datalogger they often have a pseudo gear indicator (The Racepak G2X for example) , by using the gear ratio and speed to calculate what gear you are in.

They work in two dimensions (ok, three if you includee time) so don't account for airspeed or vertical climb/decent rates though....so not much use to you and Shaun, eh?
