Visor cleaning products

Any recommendations? Rain-X and Rain-X anti fog? Would certainly be keen to use some anti-misting if they are any good?

If the sun carries on this may be a worthwhile tip....
Don't chip away at a fly splattered visor...you will scratch it etc.
Get a small towel or piece of kitchen roll, soak in soapy water and lay the towel on the visor. Allow to "soak" for a while and then flies etc will simply come off with a wipe or even sticke to the towel..............bit of useful advice don't use the helmet with this towel on..( tee heeeeeeeeeeeee )

I've had great results using Plexus - http://www.plexusplasticcleaner.com/plexus.html

DON'T use a paper towel/shop towel. Use a proper, clean, cotton cloth. Paper products will put hairline scratches in the visor.

I've had visors get scratched through various transgressions, and Plexus can usually polish them up to 95% from new!

(What with my technical cleaning credentials (it's how I earn a living)) may I recommend micro-fibre cloths which are jolly effective and non-linting?

Will give the micro fibre a try. Have plenty around but was told many moons ago to use plain old cloth with Plexus, and never ventured away from what had worked (for fear of making a hash of it).

Thanks for that, do you think the anti misting stuff (Rain-X anti-fog) is worth using? In the likely event of wet weather this year I'd rather not have a steamed up visor to worry about as well.
