I have an xjr 6 95 model. Nicassel issues on the v8 is the common thing to beware of, think it was sorted around the 2000 year model.

..is all you need!

My XJR8 is as fast as I want to go, I think!

The XJR8 has been great on tyres and suspension components (i.e. not needed any in the last couple of years!). My old straight 6 XJR however went through a set every 10k miles and the suspension always needed something or other doing to it, new bushes etc. V8 is more economical. I would stick with the V8 if I had to choose.

£5k seems towards to top of the market price wise wink

I bought my 1999 XJR late last year for £3700 and It only had 89000 miles and full history, so I'd say read the buyers guide that was posted earlier, and haggle hard...

Then enjoy driving one of the best automotive bargains wink

Yes i was thinking it was probably over priced. But as i haven't seen the Car yet i will reserve judgement.
